1. FEDEN became a member of National Development Council under National Planning Commission.
2. It was involved in preparing national level intermediate plan with National Planning Commission.
3. The federation played important roles in preparing policies for National and international non-government organizations.

4. It represents in the high level consultation committee formed by peace and Reconstruction Ministry of Nepal.
5. FEDEN has been regularly meeting with Election Commission for free and fearless election in coming constituent assembly.

6. The federation is active to coordinate and build relationship with national and international development agencies.
7. A national level convention inaugurated by prime Minister was successfully completed. The convention had more than 3000 representatives from NGOs, INGOs, political leaders, human right activities, civil society representatives, and journalists.
8. A draft code of conduct for member NGOs is prepared.
